Showing your house.
When potential buyers are interested in viewing your home, you need to make sure everything is in your favor for making a sale. First impressions will linger. To make the best impression on the buyer, complete the following checklist.

Yard Work.

• cut grass
• rake any leaves
• remove any clutter
• weed garden
• trim hedges
• remove dead flowers or plants.

Clean.

• wash stairs, windows, floors, doors, etc.
• vacuum
• take out trash
• dust
• clean tubs and toilets

Fix.

• fix any minor repairs
• oil squeaky hinges
• change dead light bulbs
• fix leaky faucets.

Manicure.

• paint anywhere needed
• remove or cover any stains
• get rid of any odors.

Finishing Touches.

• turn on all lights
• hang fresh towels
• make all beds
• open all doors

Remove Yourself.
Try to remove most of the personal items in the house such as family photos, religious symbols, etc. the buyer needs to be able to visualize themselves in the home which can be harder to do when it has your personal things in it.
